Spanish Courses in Coronado
Coronado is a beautifully quiet and green city, it sits in contrast to the bustling city of San Jose which is only a short bus ride away. It is situated along the very outskirts of the captivating Braulio Carrillo National Park.
There are numerous geological delights to observe within the National Park. The Barva Volcano is a spectacular sight because of the beautiful crater lakes that have formed. The volcano has not displayed any signs of eruptive behaviour since the noted eruptions in the year 1760.
The unique feature with this particular park is that it has hardly been explored and whilst this adds a certain amount of mystery and intrigue to the air it also means that some of the trails will not be that accessible. The park houses approximately 600 different species of tree, in excess of 540 individual bird species and around 136 different species of mammals and these are only the ones that have been spotted.
