Spanish Courses in Boquete

The mountain town of Boquete is renowned throughout Panama for its fresh climate and wonderfully scenic setting. It is approximately 1,200 metres above sea level and it is this altitude that gives the town its invigorating climate.

The town is famous for its amazing, rich coffee beans and deliciously sweet oranges and there are tours offered from Boquete which visit the plantations where guests are invited to sample the products themselves. There is nothing quite as tasty as a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or a lovely mug of coffee produced from fresh coffee beans.

Maybe you would prefer to take a trek through the rainforest and hike to the summit of Volcan Baru, along the way you can observe the exquisite tropical birds that live amongst the cooling trees; one of which is the resplendent Quetzal bird with its beautifully coloured plumage. If this does not appeal to you then how about some white water rafting or kayaking down the winding Caldera River with your friends. The Caldera snakes its way through the town of Boquete and over the years has shaped much of it to its present form.

For relaxation try taking a dip in the soothing hot springs or have a go at some fly-fishing. The local flora and fauna is a delight to observe and this is especially true throughout the flower festival held in the town.
