If you like snakes then you will find the Centro Anaconda Serpentario fascinating as it houses over 50 different species of snakes including a yellow Burmese python.
For souvenir shops, leather shops and chocolate gift stores visit the Av Las Heras shopping area in Mendoza, here you will find everything from expensive well made leather products to delightfully delicious chocolate goodies.
The smoked meat platters and the kebabs are exceedingly tasty at the Allure restaurant and for a bit of fun whilst you dine go to the El Palenque where they serve the house wine in pinguinos, these are lovely ceramic penguin shaped pitchers.
